First, I'm a big fan - thanks for the great work. I'm currently using a small cluster of proxmox 1.9 and looking to move my setup to a high availability with PVE 2.1. I'm using both KVM and OpenVZ but I don't really need or prefer any one over the other. When I read your WIKI for HA Cluster it mentions that a NAS/SAN is required for HA with KVM but it is not clear if it is required in order to have HA with OpenVZ? Is it?
The problem I see is that if we use NAS/SAN - then that machine is essentially a single point of failure for the whole setup. And I also read your 2 server setup - well, then it makes the switch and the network cards a single point of failure.
What is the minimum number of machines to achieve full HA setup with Proxmox 2.1?
