Migration path from an old VE 3.4?

Hi out there,

I have a quite old Proxmox VE installation (yes, 3.4 - I know it is long past support). It only runs one VM, everything else has been migrated off this box or decommissioned. Is there any way to migrate this VM into a brand-new VE 7.3 host other than executing 4 consecutive migrations (3->4->5->6->7)?

Thanks in advance
Best regards

shut it down, back it up via vzdump, restore. Another option, if you are not using qcow now, migrate disk to directory storage/qcow, manually copy it over along with vm config and manipulate it to start on new server. The obvious benefit is that the original stays intact until you are sure the copy works.
