Hi,
I have a Proxmox host with an older version that I need to migrate servers away to a new shiny Proxmox host. I know that you can take a backup and then reactivate that backup on the new host, but I was wondering if there is an easier way to attach both VM hosts to CephBlockstorage and because of this have an easier migration path?
The VM data would already be on an independent storage and all you would have to do is copy over the VM spec information.
I cannot add the source hosts to the new cluster, as you can't do that with existing VMs on it.
That would be the ideal scenario.
These servers should be down for the least possible time, so that is why I'm looking for this solution.
