Migrating VM between two separate clusters

Hello,

I have a two-node cluster and am setting up a separate PVE datacenter. Since Cluster 1 serves different groups, I want to keep the new datacenter completely separate.

I need to migrate a VM from Cluster 1 to the new datacenter. Is this possible?

Initially, I considered adding the new PVE node as a third node in Cluster 1, migrating the VM to it, and then removing it. However, I believe this won’t work since a removed node shouldn’t be brought back online.

What are my available options?

Thank you. I didn't know such a project existed. Since I can't find exact documentation for datacenter-manager, can you tell me if I can safely remove datacenter from datacenter-manager?

if I can safely remove datacenter from datacenter-manager?

yes, not using myself yet.
But it's "just" a "remote controller" of PVE using API instead native PVE Web GUI.
