[SOLVED] Migrate with veeam from baremetal

Hi,

I've a baremetal host wich I like to migrate to an virtual machine at proxmox.
There is an Baremetal backup with veeam. So I wonder if I could use the recovery media to migrate.

When I start the point baremetal recovery it told me there are no identifier:




I see that the bios already have an uuid.
Any idea what to do or a better Idea?

Let me guess: you're using machine type version 8.1 and legacy boot (no UEFI), right?
Easiest workaround is using version 8.0
You could add args: -machine smbios-entry-point-type=32 in your VM conf file and it will be working with version 8.1 too.
