Hello people,

As you can see in the title I'm trying to migrate Windows VM from a Proxmox server to a Hyper-V server.

As of right now I've followed this tutorial : https://blog.intelligent-ware.com/?p=517

But the VHD files I got after I converted them from RAW to VHD are unusable and the vm doesn't boot. I tried the VHD files with Hyper-V and virtual box with no success.

I there a way or a tutorial on how to migrate windows VM from Proxmox to a Hyper-V server ?

You also have to be aware of the boot method. In Hyper V, first-gen is BIOS only, everything after that is UEFI. Your guest implies what generation of virtual machine you have to create.

Yes, a VHDX file is required for gen 2 vm's in Hyper-V. So, if your VM in Proxmox uses UEFI you have to convert it to a VHDX file before you can use it in Hyper-V. This is why I posted the additional link, thanks for making that clear.
