Hi,

Just upgraded successfully to 8.0 and thought I should add some long due VM's. This led to me start thinking about what disks I use and for what. I'd like to have PVE on the nvme and the VMs on sda1. I configured the second as another thin-pool, but then got stuck when it came to actually migrating them.

Right now the 'local-lvm' on the system NVMe drive holds my VMs. I'd like to migrate them to sda1 instead. I found this page https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Storage_Migration, but can't find where to actually do this... I've looked everywhere but the correct place I suppose, how should it be done, or where can I find more info please?

First you need to create a new storage in the configuration, if you haven't already ('Datacenter' > 'Storage' > 'Add' > 'LVM-Thin')/

Then you can select the VMs and go to 'Hardware' > Select the disk you want to move > 'Disk Action' > 'Move Storage'

Thank you! I have the new storage, and just tried - worked beautifully :)
