Migrate ionos vps to proxmox

Hello and thanks for your help in advance.

I have a VPS hosted at ionos and want to migrate to my working proxmox server.

VPS is running ubuntu 20.04 and has several configurations that I do not want to lose. I had to upgrade and downgrade several tools and libraries to get everything running correctly.

What is the best way to migrate everything to proxmox? I cannot download the full VM as I do not control the host. However I do have root access on the VPS.
