We are investigating to migrate our servers to a cloud VPS datacenter.
At the moment we are using Citrix (PVS) version 7.24 on vmware esx on our own servers.
The cloud VPS provider will provide us with Proxmox as hypervisor and Ceph as storage.

As far as I found, it isn't possible to run Citrix MCS on Proxmox.
Is it possible to run Citrix Xendesktop (PVS) with a Storefront server and a Netscaler on a Proxmox/Ceph system?

To be 100% sure about compatibility, I suggest you install Proxmox VE itself as a virtual machine. It is no problem to create VMs in this Proxmox VE VM (nested virtualization). You can do this on your ESXi server, VirtualBox on your current PC or anywhere else.

Thanks for your answer.
I was hoping that someone, on this forum, had hands-on experience with Citrix running on the proxmox hypervisor.
Couldn't find much information on Google.

Also, maybe it may run on Proxmox but what in case of performance issues
I've already contacted Citrix support but no response yet.
