Hi,
what happens if you use ssh from each server to the other? Does it work without asking for an password, or alert about an wrong hostkey?

Hi dietmar,

we have changed all our ssh ports, normaly we use only key files for connect. We are looking also for a possibility, to using keyfiles on migrating or a other ssh port. I hope, you can help us. Very thanks.

Hi dietmar,

if i change ssh port and would migrate a vm i get this error:

Jan 01 18:12:29 # /usr/bin/ssh -c blowfish -o 'BatchMode=yes' root@217.*.*.61 /bin/true
Jan 01 18:12:29 ssh: connect to host 217.*.*.61 port 22: Connection refused
Jan 01 18:12:29 ERROR: migration aborted (duration 00:00:00): Can't connect to destination address using public key
TASK ERROR: migration aborted

If i change back to port 22 its works fine. But jow can i use migration, if ssh port was closed or changed?
I hope you can help me, very thanks.

You need to change the default port in /etc/ssh/ssh_config, or /root/.ssh/config

Hi dietmar,

thanks for answering.

In /etc/ssh/ssh_config is port 22 commented out with #.
In /etc/ssh/sshd_config we have changed it to a other port and reload ssh service.

do we must uncomment the port-line in /etc/ssh/ssh_config?

Hi,

i have change it to Port 34343, but the error message is the same.

Jan 05 11:20:35 # /usr/bin/ssh -c blowfish -o 'BatchMode=yes' root@217.*.*.61 /bin/true
Jan 05 11:20:35 ssh: connect to host 217.*.*.61 port 22: Connection refused
Jan 05 11:20:35 ERROR: migration aborted (duration 00:00:00): Can't connect to destination address using public key
TASK ERROR: migration aborted

But i have found a solutions. You must change the Port to the same in all Hosts...

regards
