Hello again everybody,
I've been getting this error from one of my proxmox servers for quite some time with increasing error count. This is on the proxmox install partition which is sitting on Dell Perc RAID1. The Dell server does not show any errors on these disks via the iDrac interface. I swapped the disk with a new one and let it rebuild but I continue to get these errors. Is this some sort of misreporting on the latest Proxmox versions? I'm not sure what else to do other than wipe and rebuild proxmox on this server?

The following warning/error was logged by the smartd daemon:

Device: /dev/bus/0 [megaraid_disk_00] [SAT], ATA error count increased from 24294 to 24380

Device info:
ST2000NX0423, S/N:W460QB96, WWN:5-000c50-0ab0abf66, FW:NB33, 2.00 TB

For details see host's SYSLOG.

You can also use the smartctl utility for further investigation.

Dell iDRAC reported disk0 failure just now so it does appear to have been accurate reporting by megaraid.
I'll replace the disk and see if it continues.
