Mapping a usb

Are there any specific procedures for mapping a USB to Proxmox VE and a virtual Debian Server?

The requirement is to read the USB for specific lic info to authenticate the services.

The proxmox web interface does not support it, need to do from it from shell, search for "qm hostusb", relevant info can be found here...

is there a way to pay to have this feature added in the system. If so please contact me. We are more than happy to contribute funds for the quick development of this feature since we have specific requirements for the usb accessibility

Its better to contact Proxmox Commercial Support Services. This feature is rather difficult to implement, it might be good idea to deal with it on per guest accident in your organization...
