I am deploying an application that needs UPNP one each of 5 WAN IP addresses.
I started with pfSense running in it's own VM with a WAN interface and a LAN interface
I have 8 VM's attached to the LAN interface and they each get IP DHCP and the UPNP support is provided by pfSense
With just one I can put the WAN interface on a switch to the WAN and it works fine.
When I try to add a second if fails.
Maybe it is a simple routing problem.
I have 4 ports in the server, one could be the WAN port and then have 5 network interfaces 1 for each of the IP addresses assigned.
4 would be virtual bridges to other VM's and one would go to the LAN/WiFi router/gateway via a physical port
I guess I am trying to build a software router,
I may need to draw a network diagram to better explain it.
Any suggestions?
Thank You
Tom
