AFAIK, to make a "manual" backup-restore, it is needed to take
- the VM disks "somehow"
- the .conf file (inside /etc/pve/qemu-server)
Anything else?
For example, the configuration of the firewall may affect, not so much the virtual machine, but its reachability.
Does it make sense to copy the /etc/pve folder entirely, keeping together with the .VMDK, .RAW etc., to be sure of being able to redo the system later?
Maybe not (there are also private RSA keys)
Short version: are "vmdks" + .conf enough to successfully restore?
Thanks for any reply!
