We are looking to deploy proxmox on a large client base and we need to come up with a way to really manage all this. We currently run a CentOS load which we have pretty good control over as far as updates. Typically only releasing updates and fix's when they are really needed. I am unsure if this is something we could continue to do moving forward with proxmox. Looking for input and suggestions from anyone with a large base of proxmox installs out in the feild. We plan on picking up an enterprise subscription for each client to gain access to the enterprise repositories, but would it make more sense for us to run our own mirror if possible? I am unsure if we can even run our own mirror of the enterprise repositories.
I would love to run our own repo and release new packages as we test them here in house, this would also ensure that all new systems setup down on our hardware bench gets the same versions. I appreciate any input on this as I know there aren't a ton of people running large deployments.
