Manage Veth ip configuration from Proxmox?

Hi,

Is there a patch somewhere that enables us to specify an ip/netmask/gateway for each Veth interface in proxmox and automatically configure the /etc/network/interfaces file in the container?

OpenVZ already does it for venet, having the same feature for veth would be great!

only way should be to implement dhcp server in proxmox, but it's not currently available.
(I would like to code it for the end of the year, after release of proxmox firewall)

Well,

I did my own patch to the web manager and edited the vznetaddbr script so that I can configure the /etc/network/interfaces of the containers from proxmox !
That's so much better now !
