AMD 5900x Asus B550 Prime RX 460 (baffin) LP MSI GPU

Well, it's been 2 weeks and i haven't been able to fix this. This is my first Proxmox and my first post here...YAY!

I followed this guys Proxmox mac os ventura Tutorial and his GPU passthrough guide here https://i12bretro.github.io/tutorials/0865.html
VERY HELPFUL!

I'm stuck at Proxmox being able to boot and it is using the GPU to display the screen with mac os, but when i hit enter, it barfs.
Would one of you be kind enough to take a look at whatever logs you guys look at for me? Also, where are these logs?

Here is the video of what happens

The key is to get a working install without the GPU passed through first. Then work on the GPU passthrough.

Try to get PCI(e) passthrough working with just a recent Ubuntu installer ISO to make sure your motherboard and GPU are capable of it and to find out which kind of additional work-arounds you need. You don't even need to install Ubuntu, just seeing the installer on the physical display is proof that it works.

Exactly.. But so i have to change something in Bios?
I don't understand the question, sorry.
or Like ive heard people needing a 2nd GPU initially. What is the purpose of that?
Devices don't always reset properly and can fail to work for VMs when used by Proxmox and/or by booting the system. There are several work-arounds (and lots that don't work anymore in outdated guides on the internet).
DId you guys see my youtube vid in the OP? Like what would you do at that point?
I didn't and I know nothing about macOS. Look at the Syslog in Proxmox or use journalctl and scroll to the time that the VM starts and/or crashes for clues.
Anything look weird or wrong here?

AMD Polaris 11 don't reset properly and you need vendor-reset as a work-around (and you need to enable it explicitly). If you switch to the new 6.2 kernel you probably don't have to blacklist amdgpu and then you don't need the single/boot GPU work-around. You do still need vendor-reset.

Please start with installing and enabling vendor-reset and booting your VM with the latest Ubuntu Live installer ISO (which is known to work with AMD GPUs) to get GPU passthrough worked out before complicating everything with macOS. Or did you already do that and is the problem only with macOS?
