LXD Project Lost Some Funding From Canonical - Does this affect Proxmox Virtual Environment?

Hi There,

Just curious if the loss of LXD Image Server funding from Canonical with the Linux Containers project is going to affect Proxmox Virtual Environment and whether or not we will see a shift to Incus containers (whatever those are ).

Also, is there a good up to date explanation / description for how CT Templates found in the PVE GUI are built and hosted? I've always sorta wondered that but never investigated the infrastructure and mechanics outside of my environment.

We do not use LXD at all. We never used it, and we will never use it. We use LXC.

Thank you for clarifying, I think there has been some confusion for me as I could have sworn LXD used to be LXC...?
