[LXC] Wrong swap amount displayed

Hello,

i am currently using the latest version of Proxmox VE (version 5.4) and i have the problem that i configure for example 1GB of swap for a lxc container, but inside of this container the sum of assigned ram and the configured swap is displayed as swap amount.

So when i configure e.g. 2GB of RAM for a lxc container and 1GB of swap, in this container 2GB of RAM and 3GB of swap will be shown.

I don't know if the lxc container can really use the displayed amount of swap (sum of ram and swap) or just the amount of swap configured for this container. But is it possible to just show the configured swap inside the container?

take a look at the following documentation in the sections related to swapping (2.4 and so on):

in your case:
memory.memsw.limit_in_bytes = (memory + swap) = 2048 + 1024 = 3072
