LXC -- VNC Issues

Today I had an issue when trying to logout and close a VNC session which was running a bit longer (3hr+ ). Bash showed me "logout" and the nothing more happens. (Screenshot)

Closing the separate browser window results in a stuck VNC session, so trying to reconnect the console still shows me a blank screen.

Did anyone had this issue before and knows a solution?

Hi.

How did you logout, with pressing CTRL + D?

This closes normally the CT shell we run detached for the noVNC session, so that seems to behave normally.

Did you try to hit Enter after you reloaded the noVNC tab? Often the shell's prompt is just out of view.
That works better with xterm.js - which is superior for CT and host shells/consoles in a lots of ways, FYI.

Yes just logged out pressing CTRL + D

Hitting Enter several times after re-attaching the VNC does not do anything. Only restarting the CT brings the VNC back again, but this is not the preferred way


But will try with xterm.js next time to see if this happens again there.

Is there any possibility to debug this on the PVE host? Having this behaviour again with xterm.js
