Using the latest LXC image available from Proxmox templates downloads.

After creating a new container and running:

Code:
root# apt-get update
root# apt-get upgrade (or dist-upgrade)

And then rebooting the container, the container does not come back up. If I open the console window all I get is a black screen and the container doesn't respond to anything. Tested multiple times and it continues to happen. If I create the container and don't upgrade packages I can reboot it multiple times and not run into the issue. Only after upgrading packages does the issue start.

Is there a newer container I can grab? The current one needed a lot of updates, I'm not surprised it broke.

By the way I have no issues with the 18.04 image.

Update: It does actually start after ~5 minutes. Looking at dmesg, this is where it starts getting stuck:

It does that for awhile and then a bit later:

At this point it goes back into repeating what the first picture shows. It ends up finishing boot around the 1387922 mark.
