[SOLVED] LXC container, empty template box in web GUI

Hello Forum,
on a newly installed VE (7.4-3), when trying to create LXC container with the web GUI, the template selection box remains empty:

I tried:

• Different Browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Safari - no differences.
• Executing pveam update followed by pveam available showed a lot of templates, but did not change anything concerning the GUI.
• Clearing the browser's cache did not change anything.

Unfortunately there was "no magical event" (as in this post) from yesterday to today, it is still not working!
What can I do ?

Have you tried downloading one of the CT templates first through the GUI or by using pveam download?

Through the GUI you can click on your storage -> CT Templates -> Templates -> select a template -> Download. They should show up as an option when creating a new LXC container once you do that.
