LXC Console Busy

Hi, i am often getting this error when i try to login into a lxc container after disconnect from ssh.

lxc-console: commands.c: lxc_cmd_console: 714 console -1 invalid,busy or all consoles busy

What can i do here other than reboot the vm, to login again ?

We limit the number of tty's to 2 by default. you can increase that with

# pct set <VMID> --tty 4

Does that help?

Yes, this does help, is there a way to kill a tty from the host ?

What do you want to kill (sorry, I cannot reproduce the problem here)?

the problem is that ssh kicks me out and then i cannot connect to the LXC Container because it says its busy, means the session is still open, and thats why i cant connect to it with lxc-console -n <vmid> . I was wondering how to kill the old session to login again.

looks like a ssh problem. ssh should close the tty after some time...
