Hi
today I started to setup a lxc-Container with Centos 8. The installation went really smooth. And I found it's a really big deal to setup a container and not a completetly VM for just a Protokoll-Converter.
After a little search I found some tutorials how to passthrough the usb-adapter.
That works, but I got troubles with the delay from the adapter.
If I connect it to a physical host everything goes fine, but with the container I have drops every 10 seconds.

Any Idea about that?
Maybe I should try a different container, my physical host with this adapter is currently using Debian 10 but I would prefer Centos for now.

Please let me what's your expirence with LXC Container and USB Passthrough.

Thx
Kind regards

can you tell us how you did that? your container configuration pct config CTID would also be useful.

do you see anything related to your device or the usb in the logs, like dmesg and /var/log/syslog or journalctl?
