After last reboot of proxmox machine running LVM thin, i've got into following problem:

[ 15.801293] device-mapper: table: 253:11: thin: Couldn't open thin internal device
[ 15.810909] device-mapper: ioctl: error adding target to table
[ 15.829579] device-mapper: table: 253:11: thin: Couldn't open thin internal device
[ 15.839190] device-mapper: ioctl: error adding target to table
[ 15.861692] device-mapper: table: 253:11: thin: Couldn't open thin internal device
[ 15.871297] device-mapper: ioctl: error adding target to table

I can't activate the thin LVs and therefore i can't access my containers.
It seems to me that problem was caused by metadata area being too small, i had to increase it in the past, but this time, it seems like it corrupted the metadata completely (instead of freezing and waiting for metadata area to be extended)

Not sure if i will be able to restore the data, however i strongly discourage anyone from using LVM thin on production servers.
