LVM storage extend best practice

Hi,
We have setup a 500 Go LUN on our SAN.
We map a LVM Volume Group "vg_guests" on this LUN.
We want more space to store more VM.
From proxmox vision what is the best practice :
Add a new LUN to the existing "vg_guests" to exetend the VG size
Add a new VolumeGroup "vg_guests2"
