I deleted a VM but not the disk. My disks are LVM on top of iscsi. When I run lvdisplay, the disk does not appear, but if I run lsblk, the disk is present. I also cannot view the disk in the webgui. How can I recover this disk?

make again VM and join this "unused disk" to this VM. Then you can use data, when you want . Or delete it complete.

Hi,

how did you do that? Proxmox VE will remove disks that are referenced in the configuration (in case of LVM with lvremove) when you destroy the VM.

Honestly, it's been so long now that I'm not sure. I THINK I detached the disk before deleting the VM. I've also done a significant amount of work on my cluster and now the volume isn't appearing on the remaining nodes in my cluster. I guess it was some sort of error that has resolved itself.

Detaching would not be enough. The volume is still referenced by the configuration then. You'd need to remove the line referencing the volume manually from the config (or lines if you have snapshots).
