Hello.

Is it possible to use lvm logical volume as a datastore?

lv02 vg-test -wi-a----- <3.64t

The command proxmox-backup-manager does not see the lv block device

proxmox-backup-manager disk initialize sd sda sdb sdc sdd

I have a large raid partition that I don't really want to give away completely for backup datastore.

PBS just needs a folder on a filesystem that can handle 65565 subfolders and got atime/relatime. So manually creating a LV and formating it with something like ext4 or xfs using the CLI should be fine.
