Hi,

Although locking_type=3 in /etc/lvm/lvm.conf, clvm does not work correctly :

pvscan
connect() failed on local socket: No such file or directory
Internal cluster locking initialisation failed.
WARNING: Falling back to local file-based locking.
Volume Groups with the clustered attribute will be inaccessible.

service clvm status gives blank response.

Any idea to solve this ?
Thanks

why do you need clvm?

I need clv3 to see all the volume groups and volumes on all the cluster nodes. I will format in GFS.

OK. I've created a LVM group via the UI, created a volume via CLI and formated in GFS2 format. But when I try to mount the partition :

mount -t gfs2 /dev/vg-cms/lv-cms /cms/
node not a member of the default fence domain
error mounting lockproto lock_dlm
