LVM block Settings

Are there, like VMware, the ability to improve performance by modifying the disk block size ?
Hi,
yes - use the search function of the forum. aligning disk is one keyword. Another way is to use the right block-size for raid-sets in the lvm...
For my part i use only aligned disk and the rest must done by fast raid-controller, fast disks and raid-10.

What improvements do you expect (before/after)?

Hi udo

If by chance you'd have it in your bookmarks, would you please share some valuable resources about to setup aligned disk/raid/lvm ?

Thx in advance

I do not expect a particular level of improvement, I wish above all a maximum value of the equipment.
Vmware on the size of blocks depends directly on the size of future desired VM, I understand that it can mount up to 2 Mb.
Is this also the case for Proxmox?

I also found this link but I'm not sure it corresponds exactly to the info I'm looking for ...
