Hi,
this is my problem:
if i create a new disk file (from vzdump-backup or copy an existing) on my iscsi/lvm storage the disk file is full of filesystem errors which are not recoverable!
after a few debugging and much of headache i see on proxmox web-gui this line:
WARNING: dos signature detected on /dev/vms/vm-1001-disk-1 at offset 510. Wipe it? [y/n]: n
the LVM Default answer for this is "YES" - but proxmox lvcreate command does say "NO" and so all my new VM-Disk's will be unusable!!!
my little workaround:
if i create vom command line a new dumy-disk file (100GB), say "Wipe it - Yes" and destroy it i can use this space from proxmox gui for new disks without errors.
i dont now why this is happend, the lvm-storage is 10TB big and has up to 20 VM-Disks right now.
can anyone help me?
thanks a lot
my config:
3 Nodes with one iscsi-LVM Storage (OpenMediaVault)
PVE Manager Version: pve-manager/4.4-1/eb2d6f1e
