LSI SAS1064ET install problem

Hi,

I'm having no luck installing from either the 2.0 or 2.1 iso to a RAID1 on an LSI SAS1064ET controller, the installer always fails after the partitioner runs with "unable to mount /dev/sda1". The installer sees the RAID fine, and here's what lspci says about it booted from Knoppix: LSI Logic / Symbios Logic SAS1064et PCI-X Fusion-MPT SAS [1000:0056] (rev 08) . The console reports "unknown filesystem type 'VMFS_volume_member', see attached screenshot. Anybody else have any experience installing on this RAID chipset?

I solved this by installing from the 1.9 iso and then running the upgrade script. This card uses the mptsas driver, just fyi.
