Can I add my public keys to:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 29 Sep 4 11:12 authorized_keys -> /etc/pve/priv/authorized_keys
even if PM is a part of growing cluster?

PM will not be bothered by an additional key, right?

I have not had any issued adding keys to /root/.ssh/authorized_keys

Keep in mind, however, that this file will be synchronised across your Cluster. This is what we want, but may not be what you want.
