How do I get to the web interface from here. I'm new to this wanted to start a new hobby. Maybe I bit of more than I can chew. Can anyone assist me step by step please. I've installed successfully got the IP address "this page" will be much appreciated, thanks

Hi, thanks, it works when I do it from another computer/browser. I'd like to know how I can reach it on the computer that I installed it on.

Proxmox is meant to be run headless so you access the gui from another machine on the same network. From the gui you have access to the console of the proxmox host.

Adding on top: While Proxmox VE is indeed meant to run headless by default (most servers don't have much use for a desktop) you can install any Linux Desktop that's available in Debian, for example GNOME, KDE, XFCE, ... just fine.

Source: I'm writing this post through my PVE powered workstation using i3 as window-manager (a bit advanced, would not recommend it for beginners) and plain old Firefox.
