Just a simple upgrade, how do I remedy this situation to finish simple package upgrade. Thank you!

Hey,

apparently a process with pid 3046287 is doing an update/install (and got stuck?). If possible, you can either
* restart your system, or
* kill the process with kill -9 3046287 + you might have to delete /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend after killing it (just try updating again, and if he complains again you have to delete it)

Necro I know

Thanks! A quick fix for me. I did not need to delete the lock-frontend. A Refresh and Upgrade proceeded normally.
