I've been running Proxmox for a few years now with no issues. I recently added another Intel NIC and want to pass it through to one of my VM's, but as soon as I add the hardware to the vm hardware list, I loose connection to the webgui, and even the output to my vga hard wired screen stops. Even before I start the vm!? Simply adding the device to the hardware list seems to trigger the issue.
I've double checked that I'm not adding the systems shared NIC, and indeed the mac addresses are different. What gives?
