I have two nodes and a witness in my current cluster... nothing fancy, internal storage on each, no ceph. I have a 5 node new cluster on which I'd like to install ceph and to which I'd like to migrate my existing VMs. VMs are all I have in there - no containers. Thoughts on the best method to do this? I thought about joining the existing cluster with my new nodes and then removing the original ones once all is migrated to the new clusters but the desire to install ceph on the new cluster, and not knowing if I can do that after migration or if I should do that before, is what's messing with me. Thanks!
