Good afternoon,
I have a Cisco UCS C220 M3L with 4 x HDD 2TB and 32Gb RAM.
As the company said that the server was a bit obsolete, I asked them to install Proxmox and test it, even though I don't have any experience in LINUX.
I installed Proxmox VE 7.3 with the idea of exploring the software, getting to know it, its potential, etc.
I uploaded some ISOs, but I don't have any VM or Containers yet, as I wanted to spend some time configuring the entire system correctly.
I enabled TFA and correctly configured it with the Microsoft Authenticator APP.
> Despite that, as I was still making settings, I went back to TFA and kept the line with all the settings, but I disabled TFA.
After that I remembered to configure RAID and then I realized that hardware RAID5 had not yet been enabled.
After reading the documentation, I realized that instead of enabling the ZFS filesystem with RAIDZ2, I should just leave the RAID5 configuration in Hardware, is that it?
> I enabled RAID5 through Cisco CIMC management console.
While waiting for the previous process to finish, I tried to enter the Web GUI and when logging in with root via Linux PAM, a second Pop-Up [Second login factor required] appeared, but without any option to insert code, so I can't get past that part.
How can I regain access to the Web GUI?
Did the ongoing hardware RAID5 activation process cause this problem, and should I reinstall Proxmox, or did it happen because I disabled TFA?
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
