live migration with snapshots

I do not understand: Why it is not possible to live migrate VM with existing snapshots? Actually I can't see any relation between existence of snapshots and live migration...

I have plenty of snapshots, so effectively live migration is impossible for me. :-(

Depends on you storage setup, do you use local storage?

Yes, zfs. Snapshots are replicated very well and "cold" migration also works. Live migration doesn't.

I find this puzzling as well. I'm curious what the reason is for the limitation.
