Hi,

I currently have proxmox licenses we are in the middle of migrating the cluster to new servers. I was wondering if there is any risk of removing the licenses off the old cluster and uploading them to the new cluster. Will do this cause any interruption to the VMs running on the old cluster as we would like to apply the latest patches before migrating all of the virtual machines.

A bit of nitpicking first ;)

Proxmox products are licensed under the AGPLv3. What you are talking about are the subscriptions :)

You should be able to move the subscription keys to the new cluster. But they need to be renewed as they are bound to the server IDs. That should be possible in the shop system of Proxmox if you bought them directly. If you bought them through a reseller, contact them to renew the subscription keys. Otherwise they can't be activated.

The nodes in the old cluster won't be able to access the enterprise repository anymore. If you want to keep getting updates for them, you should disable the enterprise repository and enable the no-subscription one.
