License Key deleted by mistake, now cannot activate

Hi all

By mistake I deleted the license key on my proxmox host instead reissuing the key and update.

When I try now to upload the subscription key I always get the error message "Connection error - timed out" on the web interface or via cli "Error checking subscription: https://shop.proxmox.com/modules/servers/licensing/verify.php: Network Error: timed out reading response".

Any ideas how to proceed from here?

Yes, networking is just fine.

As an example the output of apt update:

No, I am not using any proxy. I had no change in my setup and everything worked fine in the past.
I just can't activate my subscription key.

Please note that you are not getting any Proxmox updates because no Proxmox repository is configured. But maybe you are stimply waiting until the subscription is activated.

Maybe do that the Proxmox staff suggests in this case ( https://forum.proxmox.com/threads/error-checking-subscription-after-update.117107/post-506905 ) and create a support ticket for this activation network timeout.
