License Expiration

Just to have a complete picture:
What will happen after a standard license has expired? Will the gateway stop relaying mails or is it not possible to apply patches any longer?

if you use a trial key, email processing will stop.

if you got a commercial key, email processing will continue.
but you will not able to upload servicepacks and hotfixes anymore, also the support via http://my.proxmox.com is stalled.
