Hello,
I have a domain abc.com and the email format is firstname.lastname@abc.com. Email transmissions are working fine no issue there. But we are seeing a very large number of emails hitting the gateway for which the actual email address does not exist. We are receiving about 4000 emails coming to those no existent email addresses. Since the domain abc.com is added as safe domain, the gateway is passing all these bogus emails to the Email server on site.
Is there any way to tell PMX MG to only accept emails for real email addresses and drop everything else so they don't even make it to the network?
In MG I have Very Receivers set to Yes (550) and the email server is onsite Exchange 2016.
