Hi All,
My laptop died running proxmox so im looking at building a small but powerful server to run my home lab/servers shared via NFS from a NAS.
I have slapped together the below, could anyone who knows what they are doing look over and let me know if something wont work? plan is to use the motherboards RAID to make a RAID1 for the SSD's to run proxmox and then store VM's via NFS on NAS.
Need the extra NIC's for firewall ect
- MSI B450 Mortar AM4 mATX
- AMD Ryzen 5 2600 (3.4Ghz 6 core 12 thread with stealth cooler)
- x2 Kingston 8GB DDR4 ECC 2400mhz
- Startech PCIe 2port Gigabit ethernet card
- Corsair RM550x V2 550W 80plus Gold (Modular)
- x2 Kingston 240GB SSD's (for RAID1)
- Jonsbo V4 Silver mATX case
Please move thread if i have posted in the wrong section.
Thanks,
sL4sha
