KVM64 or host ?

Hello Guys, I'm doing some tests of performance between KVM64 default and host processors ( physical processor) , however I realized that with linux machines the KVM64 has higher performance , but with Windows machines host this with better performance. It would be possible someone from Proxmox let me know if this correct this information?

Hi,
this depend very much with what program you are testing and how it is compiled.
The main different are the supported CPU flags.
KVM64 is only the base.

Thanks for the answer. You know let me know if there are some good practices that addresses the best processor for use Proxmox and standard applications?
Comments.
I performed some tests with OpenSuse13 with installed XEN and realized that SuSE has a specific kernel for its functionality and communication between the VM, so the VM processor that appears in the settings is the Physical processor. When I do the migration of the VM to another VM node to exchange the processor to the physical of the new physical machine. According to research this is due to SuSE kernel that is prepared for this event and have a loss of 7.5% performance compared to other hypervisor (Hyper-V, VMware, kvm) that emulates the drive to the CPU. I found it interesting and I'm just sharing....
