KVM Templates: cloud-init not applying hostname

Hello

I'm having an issue with some customs KVM templates in that cloud-init is not applying the hostname. Instead it applies the last octet of its IP address whereas it's normally set to the VM name supplied to Proxmox.

VMs are being deployed via the ModulesGarden ProxmoxVPS plugin and everything works perfectly except the hostname.
Note that it works fine using distribution cloudimages, just fails on the ones I made.

What are the cloudinit settings used on Proxmox?

Centos6 most likely it's a very old cloud int. Try replacing with a newer version if possible
