Hello,
i recognized that my tap devise is configure with only 10mbits and wonder why and how to change this.

Still no answer? Why? The output of ethtool tap103i0 shows only 10mbit what atop output confirms, but why? I use virtio.

Sorry for missing informatin:
cat /etc/pve/local//qemu-server/101.conf bootdisk: virtio0 cores: 1 ide2: none,media=cdrom keyboard: de memory: 4096 name: KVM-VM1 net0: virtio=22:83:D8:2C:0B:C0,bridge=vmbr0 ostype: l26 sockets: 1 virtio0: iso:101/vm-101-disk-1.raw
OS ist on all Systems Debian Squeeze.

Hello dietmar, are you on holidays ;)?

i think i notice today. i use for my homecinema a filecluster. these machines are all stand alone and have nothing directly to do with proxmox, but the master of the cluster runs on a kvm vm. actually i play a blu ray disk and see with "vnstat -l" that the master which serves the movie via sambashare with an rx of ~50Mbits and a tx ~50Mbits which seems ok. if i look simultaneously at the proxmox hostsystem "vnstat -l" shows rx of ~50Mbits and a tx of ~700Mbits until ~1000Mbits which looks strange. the problem is, that i must stop all other network activity because the move begans to hang if i dont do so. atop shows on the tap101 and tap103 which stands for the kvm vm's over 100% and sometimes over 400% in red with the same rates like above. i cant explain it.
any help?
