Hi,

i really love the OpenVZ templates, but i have several KVM instances running both with windows and linux.
For linux i choose KVM when it comes to encrypted file systems or VPN.

But my main Problem is a 1 GB OpenSUSE KVM installation (don't blame me, blame the client) that is really using 1 GB of disk space for quite nothing.

I thought about moving this to another server but first I wanted to ask the community about their experiences.

you talk about what? RAM or disk space?

oh sorry,

i was talking about RAM.

the memory usage is quite not that easy to understand (there are several types). the current interface shows most times all memory used for KVM machines, but this is not really the case. there are improvements in newer Kernel and we will try to give better human readable values in the future.

use 'top' on the console see more details about memory usage.

hi tom, i always use top or /proc/meminfo

this process is the problem child:
