KVM HDD restore question

Hi and good afternoon,

we have a question.
How we can restore only one of our HDDs out of a KVM. For exsample, only the first harddisc we would restore, and not the other - what do we must do?

one easy way would be restore the backup to a dummy new VMID, and then use only the restored disk you need.

another, dont't know if useful to you, would be use vma utility (http://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/VMA#command_line_utility) to list and extract only what you need from a vm backup (if backup is in vma format)

I don't know any other way, sadly...
