Hi All,

I intend to make some upgrades to the server and I need to know (from other users experience) if the combination INtel S3000AH + [FONT=&quot]Quad-Core Xeon X3210 - 2.13GHz work correct with KVM.

From hardware specifications, boths support VT but to be 100% I ask other users maybe someone use the simmilar hardware.

Maybe it's a good ideea to write what harware we use and what are the conclusions.

Thank you!

Hi,

I got 2 test servers here:

INTEL S3210SHLC (mainboard)
Quad-Core Xeon X3210
8 GB ECC RAM
Adaptec 3508 with batterie backup
Raid 10 (4 x 500 GB sata hdd, 24x7)

perfectly suited to run Proxmox VE, (15.000 rpm SAS disks would be nice, but ...).

do not forget to enable VT in the bios AND POWEROFF YOUR SERVER. you need a full power off to apply the VT.
